Galini & Eggares
Two beautiful villages share the verdant Eggares Valley: Eggares and Galini. The first one became known from the work of Nikos Kazantzakis "Report to Greco", who lived in the village in 1896.
Nowadays, a visit to the rebuilt (since the early 20th century) oil mill is recommended, located next to the parish church. On the exit of the village to Apollonas, you will see the characteristic old double - arched bridge.
