Plaka is the longest beach on the island. It is a 5 kilometre stretch of golden and white fine sand and it is a destination for beach lover who return every year.

The area offers all amenities and services and it makes an excellent resort. It is a gastronomy paradise as there are plenty of taverns and restaurants that offer Greek, international, Italian and Mexican cuisine in a beautiful environment by the beach.
